The event started by 4pm with an opening prayer taken by the PPA Women Leader (Asari Toru), Jeinba Harry. This was followed by an opening speech by the Compound Overseer of the scheme, Chief Noman Besi Wokoma. In his speech Chief Noman told the women present( Numbering over 40) that they shouldn't see this scheme as an opportunity to enrich themselves, but as an avenue to better the general welfare of the Compound. He also said they should be faithful in their payback schedule so as to give others the opportunity to benefit from this scheme.
After his speech the beneficiaries were called out to pick up their envelopes. The
beneficiaries are as follows:

6. Isikima Wokoma
7. Ibiso .C. Wokoma
8. Oboma Wokoma
9. Ibiye Wokoma
10. Monica Wokoma.
Comfort Wokoma gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the beneficiaries. She said this
brought tears to their eyes! She said she thanks God for prospering their son Prince
Tonye Princewill and also stated her commitment to ensuring that the loans will be
paid back promptly.
